Can I just ask questions without creating a task?

Yes. Ask in Slack or by direct message. SevenMinds can explain product behavior, read a screenshot, find relevant tickets and their latest comments, or assess the difficulty and scope of an idea using the code. A question does not have to become a programming task.

What kinds of programming tasks can it handle?

The difficulty scale runs from a one-file wording or configuration tweak, through small component changes and single-service features with tests, to changes across services. Each task is assessed against the actual code. Difficulty does not override risk rules, and a score is not a guarantee of completion.

What happens when work gets stuck?

Progress notifications report pipeline events. A separate watchdog checks for persistent operating problems and creates an assigned ClickUp issue for an operator. Those alerts are not opted into the programming workflow, so the bot does not try to execute its own alarms.

What can an agent do for our team?

Start with business questions and reporting, then add specific workflows: task planning, reviewed code changes, website previews, documentation updates or operational investigation. We agree the connected systems and scope with you during setup.

When does a person approve the work?

Approval depends on the workflow and its risk. Development tasks follow a planning and approval policy before execution, then CI and independent review. Website changes are previewed before a person explicitly asks to publish. Sensitive work is escalated for human handling.

Does it deploy code straight to production?

The SevenMinds development workflow takes approved tasks through review to staging, ready for a person to test. Production release is a separate human decision. Website workflows have their own explicit preview-to-publish step.

Can we start with answers only?

Yes. Start with connected data and questions, then agree which execution workflows to add. In the question-answering workflow, ordinary Slack questions are read-only; development work starts from an opted-in task.

Does the agent improve itself?

It reviews previous work and proposes lessons or prompt improvements. A person reviews and accepts or dismisses those proposals. It can also propose documentation updates through a pull request.

Can all automation run offline?

The current SevenMinds workflows use external AI and collaboration services, including Slack, ClickUp and GitHub. Hosting, data access and model requirements are agreed for your deployment; offline availability should not be assumed for these workflows.
